Come and Check it Out! Melaka the Historical City in Malaysia


Melaka or Malacca is a famous historic port strategically in Malaysia, the city is the 3 state after Perlis and Penang and located on the straits of Malacca. It was founded by a Sumatran Prince name Parameswara and thereafter flourished under the Melaka Sultanate. The state was known as the Venice of the East when it was the centre of spice trade in the region. The city of Melaka its historic heart to discover something fascinating with Old buildings and traditional trades and crafts that make this one of Malaysia’s most visited destinations. Historical places include; Christ Church, the Stadthuys, St. Paul’s Church and a Famosa (a Portuguese fortress) and Jalan Hang Jebat is home to anitque Stores and galleries, Souvenir shops. Ujong Paris is Portuguess settlement and south of town where visitors can enjoy its lively square and eat Portuguese-inspired seafood dishes.
You can visit there during festivals; San Juan and San Pedro Held in June.

Other interesting place is the Hang Li Poh Well, Bukit Cina and Melaka also known as a museum town such as The Stadthuys, Governor’s House, Melaka Stamps Museum, Malaysia Architectural Museum, Islamic Museum, The Malay & Islamic World Museum, Malacca Sultanate Palace, Proclamation of Independence Memorial, Maritime Museum, St. Paul’s Hill. the beautiful town that you can learn their historical in Malaysia.
